Chateau Le Roc
Chateau Le Roc, a fantastic Bordeaux producer from the heart of the Entre-deux-Mers, the relatively flat lowland part of Bordeaux between the Gironde and Dordogne rivers. The region is known for producing wines of terrific value. The terroir is made of clay and limestone, with vines planted around 35 years ago. Monsieur Cedric Landie, the owner and winemaker of the Chateau, leads the way in producing commendable, excellent-value bordeaux.
Chateau Le Roc 2022 Bordeaux
French Red
Bright red and black fruit lead, joined by a restrained touch of vanilla and a classic savoury character. Medium-bodied and dry, the palate is approachable, with fine tannins shaping the fruit without hardening it. The finish is clean, balanced and quietly moreish. Serve with roast chicken, grilled sausages, lentils or a simple steak with herbs.
Le Roc Bordeaux Blanc
French White
A bright Bordeaux white with grapefruit, citrus and lemon aromas. The palate is fresh and inviting, combining a gently rounded texture with enough freshness to keep the fruit clear and lively. Balanced and approachable through the finish, it is well suited to simple seafood, salads, mild cheeses or an uncomplicated glass before dinner.
