AboutChâteau La Diligente
Château La Diligente makes red wine from eight hectares in Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion. Merlot leads the vineyard on clay-limestone soils, with Cabernet Franc and a smaller planting of Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes are picked by hand and fermented in stainless-steel tanks. Ageing is split between tanks, new barrels and previously used barrels, with half the wine ageing in used barrels.
