Château de Pitray

Ripe black fruit, spice and floral notes accompany an ample palate. The structure is solid, with freshness, velvety tannins and a long savoury finish. The blend comprises seventy-five percent Merlot, twenty-three percent Cabernet Franc and two percent Malbec. Vines grow on a clay-limestone plateau. Part of the wine matures in cement and part in oak for about twelve months.
