Chateau de Hureau firmly believes that the pure and individual characteristics of grape and terroir should be allowed to sing and not be masked by the heavy use of oak. Old vines and heavy pruning during the growing season mean that yields never exceed 35hl/ha resulting in rich, deeply concentrated wines.

Ch. de Hureau Saumur-Champigny Tuffe 2019

$41.99
An utterly charming Saumur-Champigny that comes from a selection of vines planted on limestone tuffe soils. Ripe, juicy and bursting with velvety redcurrant and bramble fruit, gentle acidity on the palate and notes of sweet earth, smoke and cherry towards the finish.
