AboutChampagne Telmont
Henri Lhôpital founded Champagne Telmont in 1912, a year after taking part in the Champagne growers’ revolt. The house moved to its present base in Damery in 1968.
Telmont’s environmental programme includes organic conversion, hornbeam planting for biodiversity and renewable electricity. The house no longer ships by air or uses gift boxes. It has replaced clear bottles with lighter green glass containing a high proportion of recycled material.
Champagne Telmont NV Réserve Brut
French Sparkling
Honeysuckle and fresh pear rise with green apple and a restrained touch of vanilla. Fine bubbles form an elegant mousse, carrying baked orchard fruit, mirabelle plum and gentle spice across a rounded, generous palate. Toasted almond and tropical-fruit notes add depth before a lively mineral finish restores freshness and leaves the wine balanced and precise.
