AboutCavicchioli

Umberto Cavicchioli founded his winery in San Prospero, near Modena, in 1928 and began making a Lambrusco he called Tradizione. Lambrusco remains its focus, from Sorbara grown on the Modena plain to Grasparossa from the foothills south of the city. The range includes dry, sweet and rosé wines. Vigna del Cristo, introduced in 1987, comes from a five-hectare Sorbara vineyard and undergoes a longer second fermentation in tanks.

Cavicchioli Amabile Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro

Italian Sparkling
$28.99

Lively mousse and a refined stream of bubbles carry fragrant red-fruit aromas. The palate is fresh and softly sweet, with full-bodied fruit, gentle savoury depth and a rounded, harmonious finish. Made from Lambrusco Grasparossa in Emilia-Romagna, it balances mellow texture with enough lift to remain refreshing. Serve lightly chilled with dry cakes, fruit tarts, chestnut-filled pasta, cured meats or aged cheese.
