Cavalo Barão

Dark cherry, plum and dusty red-berry aromas accompany earth, spice and subtle chocolate. The palate is medium-bodied and smooth, with red and dark fruit, soft tannins and modest structure. Smoked meat, thyme and gentle minerality appear in the persistent finish. Fermentation lasts about nine days in stainless steel, followed by six months in steel to preserve freshness.
