AboutCascina Tavijn

Four generations of the Verrua family have farmed Cascina Tavijn in Scurzolengo, in the hills of Monferrato. Nadia Verrua joined her parents, Teresa and Ottavio, around 2000 and began bottling the family’s wines, which had previously been sold in demijohns.

Grignolino, Barbera and Ruchè are central to the vineyards, which are farmed organically. In the cellar, Nadia works with spontaneous fermentation, little added sulphur and no filtration.

Cascina Tavijn 2019 Teresa Ruchè Rosso

Italian Red
