Casa Girelli makes Lamura, a range of southern Italian wines. It includes Grillo and Nero d’Avola from Sicily and Primitivo from Puglia, made with organically grown grapes. The wines ferment in stainless steel.
In 2017, Casa Girelli worked with EY on a traceability project for Lamura’s organic Nero d’Avola. A QR code gave access to information about the vineyard, origin and production process.

Citrus aromas accompany juicy tropical fruit, lychee and pineapple. The white is fresh, crisp and mouth-filling, with good complexity and texture. Made from Grillo grown organically in Sicily, it carries the Terre Siciliane designation and 12.5 percent alcohol. Suggested pairings include seafood pasta, fish, sushi, sashimi and lightly seasoned cheese. It can also be served chilled on its own.
