Cantina Marilina is the Paternò family’s winery near Noto in south-eastern Sicily, where Marilina and her sister Federica work alongside their father Angelo. Angelo moved to Noto in 2001, and the family built the winery between 2007 and 2009.
They retained 35 hectares of existing vineyards, beginning with Nero d’Avola, Moscato and Grecanico. Concrete vessels play an important role in the cellar, where the family favours patient, restrained winemaking.

Italian White
Straw yellow with golden reflections, the wine has white flowers, citrus, almond and Mediterranean scrub. The palate is fresh, savoury and balanced, ending dry and mineral. Grecanico provides the full composition. Fermentation is spontaneous, and the wine is matured in concrete. The grapes come from white calcareous soils around Noto and Siracusa, and the wine is produced organically.
