Fourteen local growers founded Cantina La-Vis in 1948. The Trentino cooperative now brings together roughly 400 members tending about 400 hectares around Lavis and the Avisian Hills.
Vineyards rise from 250 to 550 metres across varied soils and slopes touched by the Ora del Garda breeze. Since the 1980s, La-Vis has studied and mapped its vineyard soils to match grape varieties with the places where they grow best.

Italian Red
Deep ruby colour accompanies cherries in spirit, dried flowers, tobacco, liquorice and sweet spice. The palate is full, austere and soft, with balance and dense, integrated tannins. Made entirely from Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine spends eighteen months in French oak and another ten months in bottle. It comes from Trentino and contains 13.5 percent alcohol.
