AboutCameronbridge

Tanqueray is distilled at Cameronbridge in Fife, Scotland, where the historic copper still Old Tom remains in use. Tanqueray began in 1830, when Charles Tanqueray opened his Vine Street distillery in Bloomsbury, London. The London Dry recipe combines juniper, coriander, angelica and liquorice.

Tanqueray Nº Ten followed in 2000, using whole grapefruit, lime and orange alongside chamomile. The citrus is distilled separately in the small pot still called Tiny Ten before being combined with the classic botanical base.

Juniper leads, supported by peppery coriander, aromatic angelica and sweet liquorice. Four botanicals shape the profile, bringing pine, spice, aromatic depth and gentle sweetness into balance. Distilled four times, the spirit is crystal clear and distinctly herbal. Floral detail appears in the finish, alongside the clear herbal character and central juniper. Peppery spice and sweet liquorice remain part of the established profile.
