AboutCambas
Cambas was established in Greece in 1882 by Andreas Cambas. Its early reputation was built on brandy, but within two decades winemaking had become central to the company. The range includes whites, reds and retsina, and the house works with blends of different grape varieties. Alongside conventional bottles, Cambas has adopted screwcaps and boxed formats.
Cambas Karavaki Retsina
Greek White
Pale straw colour and citrus freshness meet the wine’s characteristic pine-resin and dried-herb notes. The palate is light to medium-bodied, crisp and vibrant, with green apple, lemon, lime and a gently savoury edge. The resinous character remains measured rather than heavy, leading to a clean, slightly saline finish. Serve well chilled with Greek mezze, grilled seafood, olives, feta or herb-led dishes.
