AboutBunnahabhain

Bunnahabhain was established on Islay in 1881 by blender William Robertson with brothers William and James Greenlees. The distillery and a village for its workers were built together in the island’s remote northeast, with production beginning in 1883. Its name means “mouth of the river,” and its water comes from the Margadale spring.

Best known for unpeated whisky, Bunnahabhain uses tall, pear-shaped stills and bottles its single malts without chill filtration or added colour.

Bunnahabhain 18 Year Old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Scottish Whisky
$329.99
Dried fruit, sherry and toffee open with a warm, polished richness. The palate layers honeyed nuts over mellow oak, with restrained spice providing lift and a subtle coastal salinity keeping the sweetness composed. Full-flavoured but not heavy, it closes dry and persistent, carrying dried fruit, gentle spice and a final savoury trace of sea salt. Serve neat or with a small splash of water.
