AboutTimmermans Brewery
Timmermans brews lambic in Itterbeek, Belgium, on a site whose brewing history is recorded as far back as 1702. Then known as ’t Molleken, it combined a farm, an inn and a brewery run by Jan Vandermeulen and Joanna Esselinckx. Frans Timmermans bought the brewery from his father-in-law in 1911; a later successor, Paul Van Cutsem, gave it the Timmermans name.
Lambic is still its speciality: fermentation begins with wild yeasts and microorganisms from the Senne Valley air, followed by maturation in wooden casks.

Belgian Beer
Intense ripe-cherry aroma leads into a vivid, naturally tart lambic with a deep ruby colour and lively bottle-conditioned sparkle. A blend of older and younger barrel-aged lambics gives the palate both sharp acidity and rounded fruit, while subtle lemon and vanilla notes add detail through the finish. Serve cool with duck, charcuterie, aged Gouda, dark chocolate or cherry-led desserts.
