AboutBosio Family Estates

The Bosio family began making wine in 1967, when Egidio Bosio and his wife Angela devoted themselves to small family plots in Val Bera near Santo Stefano Belbo. Their son Valter expanded the vineyards from the 1980s, adding sites across the Moscato hills and building long-term relationships with growers in Langhe, Roero and Monferrato. Rosella, Luca and Valentina later joined the work, extending the project into a multigenerational family business.

The family acquired Bel Colle in 2015, adding its Barolo and Pelaverga wines; the Bosio Family Estates name followed in 2016. An organic-wine project followed in 2020, covering several Piedmont appellations.

Bosio Family Estate Passato 2022 Roero Arneis

Italian White
$32.99

Straw-coloured, with floral notes, green apple, melon and an almond undertone. The palate combines ripe pear and citrus over a mineral, stony base, with guava and almond notes on the finish. Made entirely from Arneis, the wine spends six months on its lees. Grapes grow organically on clay-calcareous soils in Roero, and the wine contains thirteen and a half percent alcohol.
