Bols began in Amsterdam in 1575, when the family opened the ’t Lootsje distillery to make liqueurs. Around 1700, Lucas Bols took the business into international markets and developed a library of hundreds of liqueur and genever recipes.
The distillery returned to central Amsterdam in 2014. Alongside its liqueurs and genever, Bols runs a Cocktail Experience and Academy devoted to making and enjoying cocktails.

Clear and brightly aromatic, with Curaçao orange peel at the centre and a fresh citrus lift around it. The palate balances clean sweetness with a gently bitter peel note, keeping the profile lively and useful rather than heavy. Its direct orange character is made for mixing: add it to a Margarita, Cosmopolitan or Sidecar, use it to brighten a sparkling serve, or combine it with lemon and soda for a simple long drink with a crisp finish.
