AboutBleasdale

Carpenter, sailor and boatbuilder Frank Potts founded Bleasdale in 1850 on the Bremer River floodplain at Langhorne Creek. He planted Shiraz and Verdelho and established the district’s first winery. An 1892 wooden press survives in the old winery.

His descendants remain involved in the winery. Sarah Keough now guides lower-intervention farming and winemaking on land shaped by both drought and flood.

Bleasdale 2024 Mulberry Tree Cabernet Sauvignon

Australian Red
$31.99
Blackcurrant and mixed berries lead, with violet, woody herbs, dark chocolate and spicy oak adding depth. The palate is smooth and persistent, carrying generous dark fruit through balanced acidity and soft, subtle tannins. Polished and approachable through the finish, it suits grilled steak, roast lamb, rich tomato pasta or hard cheeses.
