Birra Peroni began in 1846, when Francesco Peroni opened a small brewery with an adjoining pub in Vigevano. A second brewery followed in Rome in 1864. Today the Italian brewer operates in Rome, Bari and Padua, with its malt house in Pomezia. Its museum and archives trace the brewery’s history alongside the changing life of modern Italy.
