The Tissot family’s modern Jura estate took shape in Montigny-lès-Arsures, where André and Mireille planted their first vines in the 1950s and progressively devoted the farm to viticulture. Stéphane began making wine after his studies in 1989, and Bénédicte joined him in 1993. Their names now lead the domaine, an important distinction in a region where Tissot is shared by unrelated producers.

The estate moved into organic farming in 1999, followed by Demeter-certified biodynamic viticulture. Natural yeasts and restrained sulfur are intended to keep differences among soils and parcels visible rather than standardizing them in the cellar. Its Jura character comes through in a broad exploration of local grapes and ageing traditions, matched by exact attention to the identity of each site.

Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot NV Crémant du Jura Magnum

French Sparkling
$139.99
Baked apple and tangy yellow fruit open with hints of fennel, ginger and fresh herbs. Crisp acidity gives the palate lift, while fine bubbles carry a broad, juicy orchard-fruit core. A light savoury edge and clean mineral tone add definition, leading to a dry, persistent finish that feels energetic, textured and quietly complex.

Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot 2016 En Spois Vin Jaune

French White
$204.99
Dried apple, preserved lemon and roasted walnut open a broad, expressive bouquet. Curry spice, smoke and a light peaty note bring savoury depth, while a subtle floral edge keeps the aromas lifted. The palate is powerful and open, with concentrated yellow fruit held by bright acidity and a distinct saline line. Long and dry, it finishes with nuts, citrus, spice and persistent mineral tension.

Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot 2016 Vin Jaune Les Bruyères

French White
$216.99
Walnut, dried yellow apple and bruised orchard fruit lead a deep, savoury bouquet. Curry spice, smoky peat and a subtle citrus note add complexity without blurring the wine's focus. The palate is bone-dry and concentrated, driven by electric acidity and a firm saline line. Long and resonant through the finish, it leaves roasted nuts, yellow fruit, spice and a clear mineral echo.

Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot DD 2022 Arbois Rouge 3 L

French Red
$389.99
Raspberry, cranberry and bright red berries lead with rose hip, hibiscus and a delicate floral perfume. The palate is medium-bodied and lively, balancing juicy fruit with earthy detail, fine tannins and a lightly dusty grip. Gentle herbs and warm spice add savoury definition without obscuring the freshness. Concentrated yet approachable, it closes cleanly with red fruit and an earthy, food-friendly finish.

Bénédicte & Stéphane Tissot NV Crémant du Jura Rosé

French Sparkling
$79.99
Redcurrant and raspberry rise with rose petals, toast and a gentle almond note. Fine bubbles give the palate an elegant, dry profile, carrying bright red fruit over crisp acidity and a subtle stony mineral edge. The finish is clean and persistent, leaving a restrained floral lift and enough savoury depth to keep the wine composed rather than overtly fruity.
