Beau’s Brewing Co.

Beau’s poured its first beer on Canada Day 2006 in Vankleek Hill, Ontario, founded by father-and-son Tim and Steve Beauchesne. The brewery grew around playful design, community fundraising and a willingness to brew beyond mainstream lager. Lug Tread, its Kölsch-style lagered ale, became the defining beer and helped carry the brand from local draught accounts to national distribution. Beau’s merged with Toronto’s Steam Whistle in 2022; Tim retired, while Steve remained involved in Eastern Ontario operations.
