AboutArdnamurchan Distillery
Ardnamurchan Distillery began making spirit in Glenbeg in July 2014, bringing independent bottler Adelphi’s long experience with mature whisky into a newly built West Highland distillery. Its buildings were designed to fit among those of Glenbeg, and its whisky matures on site near the North Atlantic.
Hydroelectricity, solar panels and a biomass boiler fuelled by local forestry woodchip supply its heat and power. By-products from whisky-making go to nearby farms as animal feed.

Scottish Whisky
Orchard fruit and citrus open the nose, joined by wet stone, sea-shell salinity and a thread of earthy peat smoke. The palate balances vanilla sweetness and orange cream with darker sherry-cask fruit, gentle tobacco and saline spice. A near-even combination of peated and unpeated spirit, matured principally in bourbon wood with a smaller sherry-cask component, gives the whisky both brightness and depth. The finish is composed and gently smoky, with lime, fruit and mineral notes lingering. Serve neat or with a little water.
