Alambique Serrano

Stewed plantain, raspberry marzipan and watermelon open the nose, followed by orange oil, walnut and a light cinnamon-candy note. The palate is vivid and layered, moving from lime zest, cucumber and tropical fruit toward nutmeg and lightly toasted almond. Krassel-still rum from ex-bourbon barrels is blended with pot-still rum matured in new French oak, giving the spirit both freshness and structure. The finish is gently warming, with toasted nuts, citrus oil and spice lingering. Serve neat or over a single large cube.
