Adegas Terrae began in Galicia in 2017 with wines from several of the region’s protected wine areas. Its Ribeiro project, Adega Deseu, was based in the Avia Valley near Leiro and focused on the native Treixadura grape.
Adegas Terrae 2022 Deseu Treixadura Ribeiro
Spanish White
Floral notes are joined by marmalade, honey and mature white fruit. The palate is broad, persistent and fresh, with the aromatic elements also present in the mouth. The wine is made entirely from Treixadura grown on the granitic soils known locally as sabrego in Ribeiro. It comes from Galicia in northwestern Spain and contains thirteen percent alcohol. Jasmine, white pepper and lychee are also present.
