Sousón
Sousón
Mixtura 2019 MIX Tinto Vino de Mesa
Spanish Red
Wild red fruit, lilac, Atlantic woodland, pepper, liquorice and a light smoky note appear in a medium-bodied red with silky texture, polished tannins and balanced acidity. The finish is savoury, slightly saline and persistent. Mencía, Caíño, Brancellao and Sousón ferment separately with indigenous yeasts in open vats, followed by twelve months in old French oak before the blend completes malolactic fermentation.
Forjas del Salnés 2021 Goliardo Tintos de Mar Rías Baixas
Spanish Red
Black pepper, herbs and flowers appear with a wild character. The palate is medium-bodied, with supple tannins, fine silky texture, freshness and a long finish with a salty note. Caíño Tinto, Loureiro, Espadeiro and Sousón form the blend. The grapes come from old vines planted on pebbly, sandy and granitic soils. Maturation lasts twelve months in oak barrels and large foudres.
Fento 2020 Tinto Rías Baixas
Spanish Red
Tart red fruit and wild berries lead, edged by bramble, balsamic herbs and a subtle peppery note. The palate is light on its feet, with vivid acidity keeping the fruit direct and energetic. A savoury mineral line adds shape without heaviness, carrying the native red blend into a fresh, clean and gently rustic finish.
