This was the first release of the experimental cuvée.
Vazisubani Estate 2020 Saperavi Qvevri
Ripe cherry, mulberry and blackberry open, followed by pomegranate, liquorice and dark spice. The palate is full and savoury, with concentrated fruit balanced by bright acidity and firm, well-shaped tannins. Cocoa, balsamic tones and a restrained earthy note add depth through the middle. Structured without feeling heavy, it finishes long with dark fruit, spice and a measured bitter edge.
