Deep ruby colour with violet hues accompanies red plum, morello cherry, Mediterranean herbs and black pepper. The palate is soft, full-fruited and balanced, with lively tannins. Made entirely from Nero d’Avola, the wine comes from vineyards in Agrigento, Palermo and Caltanissetta. The vineyards lie between two hundred and six hundred metres on sandy-silty, calcareous soils, and suggested pairings include braised or grilled meat, chicken curry and mature cheeses.

Raspberry and cherry mingle with delicate spicy and balsamic notes. The colour is bright ruby with violet reflections. The palate is soft and fresh, with caressing tannins. Nero d’Avola comes from south-western Sicily, at 200 to 400 metres on clay-loam soils. After malolactic fermentation, the wine spends about four months in tanks and at least eight months in bottle.

Pearl-pink colour recalls the inside of an oyster. Pastry notes, currants and Sicilian wild strawberries join plum and pineapple. The palate is smooth, with gently stated acidity. The blend is equal parts Nero d’Avola and Syrah. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, followed by time on the fine lees with weekly stirring. The wine is certified organic and carries SOStain certification.

The fruit comes from Adelaide Hills, Riverland and McLaren Vale sites. Zibibbo receives twenty-four hours of skin contact, and secondary fermentation takes place in bottle after frozen juice is added.
