Grenache Noir

Pale crimson in colour, the wine brings wild raspberry, cherry and smoked plum with tobacco and rooibos. The finish is saline. Grenache Noir comes from dryland vines rooted in Malmesbury shale and Glenrosa soils in Wellington. The fruit was basket pressed, and maturation lasted nine months in foudre. The release comes from South Africa’s Coastal Region and carries 13 percent alcohol.
