Chasselas
Chasselas
Quails’ Gate 2025 Heirloom White
Peach, lemon and apricot lead, with a delicate floral lift and a subtle orchard-fruit softness. The palate is fresh and bright, balancing gentle texture with lively acidity and a clean, lightly mineral finish. Charming and understated, it is well suited to oysters, smoked salmon, white fish, sushi or a simple plate of fresh cheeses.
Roberto Henriquez 2020 Rivera del Notro Blanco
Floral spice and ripe citrus lead a savoury, lightly textured white with pineapple, cucumber and a faint meaty note. Equal parts Moscatel, Chasselas and Semillon are fermented separately, with skin contact adding granular grip and depth. The palate stays light, dry and balanced, finishing with green pepper, broth-like complexity and clean mineral austerity. Serve with shellfish, ceviche or roast vegetables.
Viñadores de Gredos 2019 Surprise Chasselas Cebreros
An oxidative, Oloroso-like nose brings toasted nuts, warm spice and apple compote. The palate is dry and textural, with pear, dates and candied-nut richness cut by vibrant acidity. Savoury rather than fruity in the conventional sense, it stays fresh and distinctive, finishing with a gently earthy, sherry-like tang and persistent nutty detail.
Les Cortis 2018 Sillon Savoie
A delicate, mineral red with violet-tinged colour and layered aromas of redcurrant, raspberry, cassis, blackberry and blueberry. Rose, violet, musk, clove and cinnamon add lift and detail. The palate has real energy, with notable power shaped by remarkably melted tannins, carrying the floral, spiced fruit into a composed finish.
