Caraway and star anise lead a dry, savoury profile, with orange peel, dried fruit and sweet spice adding breadth. A potato-based spirit is pot-distilled with Nordic herbs and spices, then matured for sixteen months in former sherry casks, including four months at sea and two crossings of the equator. The palate is smooth and composed, bringing nutmeg, citrus and gentle oak around the central caraway note. The finish is long, lightly sweet and warming. Serve chilled with rich seafood, cured fish or roast pork.
