Kir-Yianni Veroni Dry Vermouth
Fresh oregano, spearmint and chamomile lead a vivid herbal aroma, with lemon verbena and citrus adding lift. The palate is bright and balanced, combining brisk acidity with an extra-dry profile and a firm quinine bitterness. Rooty herbs and thyme give the middle savoury depth, while a subtle orange note softens the edges. The finish is long, fresh and elegantly bitter. Serve well chilled, over ice, or as the dry vermouth in a classic Martini.
Kir-Yianni 2021 Xinomavro Ramnista
A firm, age-worthy Xinomavro with deep colour, pronounced acidity and powerful tannins. Its dark-fruited profile is framed by a complex aromatic character and a distinctly structured palate, giving the wine both freshness and the capacity to develop over time. Decanting will help it open; serve with braised beef, lamb, mushrooms or rich tomato-based dishes.
Karamolegos 2024 Terra Nera
An elegant Greek red with fresh red fruit, warm spice and fragrant Mediterranean herbs. The palate is rounded and approachable, with fine tannins giving shape to the fruit without taking away its easygoing character. Savoury and balanced through the finish, it is a natural match for grilled lamb, roast vegetables, tomato-based dishes or firm cheese.
Ekho 2023 Aegean Islands Rose
Soft pink and quietly aromatic, led by floral notes rather than overt fruit. Pronounced acidity gives the palate a crisp, taut shape, while subtle spice, lees ageing and partial fermentation in acacia bring texture and complexity without heaviness. Light-bodied, dry and elegant, it finishes clean and restrained. Serve well chilled with shellfish, grilled vegetables, mezze or lightly spiced seafood.
Karamolegos 2023 Koloura
A mineral Greek white led by stone fruit, citrus, white flowers and dried herbs. The palate is firm and fresh, with Assyrtiko’s bright acidity carrying the fruit into a saline, persistent finish. Structured enough for the table but still refreshing, it is especially good with grilled octopus, shellfish, feta, lemon-dressed vegetables or herb-forward dishes.
Metaxa Grande Fine Amber Spirit
Dried fruit, gentle oak, nuts and dried flowers open a layered, mellow aroma, with sweet spice, honey and toffee adding warmth. The palate brings plum, white raisins and liquorice across a smooth, rounded texture. Nutmeg and oak give the sweetness definition before a sustained finish of honeyed fruit and soft spice. Serve neat or over a large cube after dinner.
