Bartier Bros. 2024 Pristine Chardonnay
Canadian White
Green apple, lemon and a touch of brioche sit with texture from fine-lees contact and a crisp finish. Chardonnay comes from forty-year-old vines in sandy loam at Soaring Eagle Vineyard in Washington's Wahluke Slope. Grapes are harvested at night, destemmed, crushed and pressed immediately. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel in Oliver, British Columbia. The wine carries 12.5 percent alcohol.
Kin & Cascadia 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon
American Red
Green pepper, garden herb and orange peel meet smoke and mesquite. The medium-bodied palate adds silky tannins, bright red berries and savoury tones, with Bing cherry, red currant, sweet tobacco, milk chocolate and a floral note. Fruit comes from the Wahluke Slope in Washington, where the vineyards grow on sandy soils. Alcohol is thirteen and a half percent.

American Rosé
Very pale baby pink in colour, with strawberry sorbet, sour cherry, watermelon and violet. The Cinsault comes from Wahluke Slopes in Washington. After four hours on the skins, the juice was gently pressed. The wine spent five months in stainless steel. River stones, mandarin peel and fine spice are also present, together with a sleek, saline and slender profile. Alcohol is thirteen percent.
LUKE 2018 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
American Red
Blackcurrant, dark cherry, pressed herbs, blackberry preserve, grilled toast and baking spice accompany a broad, dense Cabernet Sauvignon with fine-grained, layered tannins. StoneTree Vineyard supplies the fruit. The blend also includes Malbec, Petit Verdot and Merlot. Fermentation uses stainless-steel bins and barrels; half proceeds spontaneously. Twenty months in second-fill French oak follows. Coffee, dried herb and black cherry add further detail.
