The palate is saline, savoury and richly flavoured, with firm but not grippy tannins and a long, tangy finish. Mixed red grapes from Taganana parcels ferment separately in concrete or plastic vats, then mature in neutral oak for eleven months.

The fruit is hand-harvested and destemmed, with fourteen days of maceration. Alcoholic fermentation uses native yeasts in stainless steel. Malolactic fermentation also takes place. The wine remains in stainless steel for four months and is bottled without filtration, clarification or added sulphites.

Fermentation takes place in Sherry butts, followed by eight months in selected butts; flor is present during the final two months.

The grapes grow in granitic soils with varying amounts of decomposed sand. Alcohol is thirteen and a half percent.

Alcohol is fourteen percent, and production totals two thousand bottles.
