Valpolicella Ripasso Classico Superiore DOC

Red cherry, dried fig, sweet spice and chocolate accompany black cherry, plum, dark forest berries, vanilla, pepper, leather and tobacco. The palate is soft and powerful, and the finish is smooth and warm. The Ripasso process passes the Valpolicella over recently fermented Amarone skins, adding body, colour and dried-fruit richness. Corvina and Rondinella are the stated varieties.
