Sekt

Made from selected Pinot Noir wines, this German rosé Sekt is extra dry and contains twelve percent alcohol. The style is fruit-led and fresh, with sparkling character rather than still-wine texture. Johann Baptist Dietrich learned Champagne production in France before returning to Germany and co-founding a sparkling-wine house in 1858. Josef Drathen now produces the wine in Zell on the Mosel.
