Full-bodied without feeling heavy, the palate is supple, satisfying and notably easy to drink. The balance of ripe fruit and savoury detail makes it a versatile match for grilled lamb, tomato-braised meats or firm aged cheese.
Tormaresca 2020 Calafuria Rosato
Italian Rosé
Bright pink-red colour accompanies pink grapefruit, juicy cherries and raspberries, with a faint Muscat-like note. The palate is juicy, fruity and fresh. Made from Negroamaro in Salento, the rosé carries twelve percent alcohol. Before bottling, it rests in stainless steel with its lees. Floral notes of rosehip and wisteria appear with tamarind and a saline mineral character.
