Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux

Merlot and Malbec form this unoaked Bordeaux red. The fruit was destemmed and crushed, followed by a short cold maceration, fermentation at 26 degrees Celsius and regular pump-overs. Cherries, figs, blackcurrants and floral notes meet a soft, silky texture, medium body and velvety tannins. Fresh acidity supports the fruit, while alcohol is 14.5 percent. The wine was aged without oak to preserve freshness.
