Rueda DO
Rueda DO
Telmo Rodríguez 2018 Basa Rueda
Spanish White
Grapefruit, white currant and spring flowers open the nose, with a stony mineral note and a hint of tropical fruit underneath. The palate is crisp, dry and medium-bodied, driven by bright acidity and clean citrus fruit. Refreshing yet composed, it finishes balanced and direct, with enough texture to feel serious without losing its easy-drinking charm.
Marqués de Cáceres 2018 Verdejo Rueda
Spanish White
White fruit and mineral notes meet fresh herbs, apple and pear, with white peach adding another fruit layer. The palate is full and structured, with freshness, lively acidity and a slightly bitter finish. Made entirely from Verdejo, the wine comes from Rueda. The fruit is cooled before gentle pressing, then fermentation takes place under controlled temperatures. The wine receives no barrel ageing.
Bodegas Portia 2024 Verdejo Sobre Lías
Spanish White
Boxwood, coriander and tomato leaf meet tropical fruit and lime in this Rueda white, with fennel, pear, mineral and almond notes also present. Fresh acidity accompanies a creamy, smooth mid-palate and a dry, pithy finish. Verdejo is harvested at night, cold-macerated before pressing and fermented at low temperature in stainless steel on its own lees.
