Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC

Sour cherry, red plum and dried rose petal appear with anise and earthy spice. The palate is medium-bodied and structured, with bright acidity and finely grained tannins. A savoury character is also present, and the finish is long and dry. The wine is made entirely from Nebbiolo, carries fourteen percent alcohol and holds the Nebbiolo d'Alba designation in Piedmont, Italy.

Earthy depth leads a serious, quietly expressive nose, joined by rose petal, mineral notes and a light touch of tobacco. The palate is balanced and structured, with elegant tannins and ample fruit held in a complete, unforced frame. Long and composed, it finishes fresh, without any sense of heat.
