Montepulciano d'Abruzzo

Black fruit, prune, liquorice and spice lead a generous, dry red with a distinctly savoury edge. Liquorice, spice, resin, flowers, cherry, pepper and saddle leather shape the aromas. The palate is round, supple and full-bodied, with acidity and a solid core of fruit. Bright cherry and plum sit with smoky, savoury, root-like and peppery notes. Its intensity suits food. Montepulciano provides the grape variety, and the wine comes from Abruzzo in central Italy.
