Au Coeur des Terroirs 2022 Sauvignon Blanc
French White
A luminous lime-yellow colour accompanies ripe citrus, passion fruit and yellow flowers. The palate is juicy and flavourful, with lively acidity and a balanced expression of fruit. Sauvignon Blanc grows on clay-limestone soils in the Loire Valley. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at eighteen degrees Celsius. The wine receives lees contact and six months of stainless-steel ageing. The dry profile contains about eleven and a half percent alcohol.
Le Petit Connétable 2024 Pinot Noir IGP Val de Loire
French Red
This red from Val de Loire is made entirely from Pinot Noir. Light black-fruit notes appear in a supple profile that is both ample and light. Alcohol is 11.5 percent. The release received a silver medal at the Sakura Awards. The range focuses on AOP and IGP wines from the Centre-Loire, with carefully selected berries used to express each grape variety.
Tracy & Cie 2024 Les Marnes Sauvignon Blanc
French White
Flowers and citrus open a lively, concentrated profile with polished texture. Exotic fruit develops with air, while lime and delicate minerality shape the clean finish. Sauvignon Blanc comes from marl, limestone and silt soils. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel between fifteen and eighteen degrees, followed by ageing on fine lees in tank. The finished profile is fresh, mineral and fruity.
Domaine de Gaubourg 2023 Rosa IGP Val de Loire
French Red
Pale strawberry and bricky cherry in colour, this light red has floral aromas, fresh raspberry, red cherry, cherry pulp and leafy notes. The fruit lingers, while a finishing structure gives a mouthwatering element. Grolleau Noir and Cabernet Franc come from vines aged fifty to sixty years. The grapes are hand harvested, with fifty percent retained as whole clusters. Production includes fifteen days of maceration and six months of ageing in stainless steel. Alcohol is eleven and a half percent.
Domaine de Gaubourg 2023 Mon Garenne Grolleau Noir IGP Val de Loire
French Red
Grolleau Noir comes from fifty- to sixty-year-old vines in the Grand Pierre sector. The shallow sandy-silt soil lies over grey schist crossed by quartz. Grapes were harvested by hand and destemmed. Maceration in vat lasted about three weeks. Ageing ran for one year, with half the wine in barrels that had previously held three wines. The finished wine is red and classified IGP Val de Loire.
