Crémant de Loire
Deligeroy Crémant de Loire Brut NV
Fine, persistent bubbles rise through a pale-yellow colour. The bouquet combines Chenin freshness, Chardonnay flowers and Cabernet Franc fruit. A lively entry opens into a round structure with white-flower flavours, followed by a long finish of juicy pear and peach. The grapes are pressed gently and fermented cool. A second fermentation takes place in bottle, and the wine ages on its lees for at least twelve months in tuffeau cellars.
Bodet-Herold 2019 Physis Crémant de Loire Brut Nature
Chenin comes from a southeast-facing site with light, well-draining Turonian chalk and resurfacing limestone; Grolleau grows on heavier clay-rich marl. Whole clusters were pressed at low pressure, with first-press and end-of-press juice separated. Ambient yeasts drove fermentation, malolactic conversion was blocked, and the wine rested briefly in stainless steel. Bottling took place in spring, followed by thirty months on lattes and a low dosage.
Domaine des Baumard NV Carte Turquoise Brut Crémant de Loire Magnum
Pale straw and finely mineral in character, with apple, peach and lemon opening the nose. Pink grapefruit adds lift on the palate, carried by refined bubbles and a brisk line of acidity. The texture remains delicate and energetic, finishing dry and persistent with a quiet biscuit note. An excellent aperitif, it also suits fresh goat cheese.
Domaine des Baumard NV Carte Turquoise Brut Crémant de Loire
Light straw in colour, with mineral aromas and notes of apple and peach. The palate is crisp and refreshing, bringing lemon, apple and pink grapefruit through a fine, elegant mousse. Bright acidity keeps the wine vibrant and delicate, while a subtle biscuity note carries the long, dry finish. Serve as an aperitif or with goat cheese.
