Costières de Nîmes

Cooked raspberry and sour-cherry notes sit with black pepper. The tannins are supple, and roasted hazelnut appears in the finish. The Grenache fruit comes from old vines in Costières de Nîmes. Fermentation takes place in concrete, followed by ageing in used four-hundred-litre oak barrels. The vineyard has rounded Villafranchian stones and lies near the Mediterranean.
