Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
Domaine Pierre Vincent 2023 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
French White
Yellow plum, white peach and fresh apple open into jasmine, acacia, lemon zest and a subtle hazelnut note. The palate is concentrated but linear, driven by chalky minerality, firm acidity and a clean, lightly bitter finish. Fermentation begins in stainless steel before moving to barrel, with restrained new oak and a further period in tank preserving tension and detail. Give it air and serve with turbot, scallops, roast chicken or Comté.
Remoissenet Pere et Fils 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
French White
Floral and expansive, with honeysuckle and gardenia leading into pear, poached apple, ginger and lightly grilled pineapple. The palate is silky and generous, balanced by enough freshness to keep the richness precise. Creamy vanilla lingers through a polished finish. This grand cru white rewards a short decant and pairs naturally with seared scallops, lobster, roast chicken or soft-ripened cheese.
Remoissenet 2019 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru
French White
Lemon butter and lime curd meet spiced green apple, clove and a faint cedary note. Full-bodied yet precise, the palate combines creamy texture with bright acidity and a long, refined finish. Yellow fruit, herbs and a light smoky savouriness add depth. Serve with grilled scallops, roast poultry or firm cheese.
