Colli Euganei DOC

Ruby colour can show purple highlights, followed by intense small red and black berries. The wine is dry, full and enveloping. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Raboso Veronese form the blend. The vineyards lie within the Colli Euganei DOC on volcanic and sedimentary soils, and the grapes are harvested by hand from mid-September to mid-October.

Dark berry fruit fills the palate from the first sip, generous and full-flavoured without feeling heavy. Bright freshness and juicy lift give the wine an easy, energetic shape, while soft, harmonious tannins frame the fruit rather than dominate it. The finish is smooth and uncomplicated. Serve slightly cool with pizza, tomato-rich pasta, grilled sausages or simple roast chicken.
