Jules Métras 2023 La Montagne Chiroubles
French Red
Ruby-red colour accompanies cherry, raspberry, violet, peony and lightly peppery notes. The wine is delicate, elegant and airy, with freshness. Gamay comes from vines about forty years old at 450 metres. Carbonic maceration takes place in concrete without additives, followed by maturation in tank and old barrels. The wine is bottled without filtration or added sulphites.
Domaine Lafarge-Vial 2022 Chiroubles
French Red
Light-bodied and dry, this spicy Gamay is made in a traditional style. The biodynamically farmed fruit is partially destemmed, and the wine ages in neutral barrels and demi-muids. It comes from Chiroubles in the Beaujolais region of France. Spice, light body and dryness accompany the partial destemming, biodynamic farming and neutral-vessel ageing used for this red wine.
Grosse Pierre 2018 Chiroubles
French Red
Blackberry and black pepper open with tilled earth and fine green herbs, giving this light-bodied red a savoury edge. Juicy fruit carries the palate, and the finish is fresh and neatly shaped rather than heavy. A little air helps it settle into place. Serve lightly cool with pork chops, ham, roast chicken or lentil dishes.

French Red
Deep ruby and lifted, opening with ripe cherry, blackberry and redcurrant over a subtle peppery spice. The palate is supple and finely shaped, balancing juicy Gamay fruit with bright freshness and a gentle savoury edge. Silky tannins carry a long, poised finish. Serve lightly cool with roast chicken, charcuterie or mushroom dishes.
