Chianti DOCG

Blackcurrant and black olive meet scorched earth, tobacco and dried herbs. The palate includes red currant and cherry alongside chalky tannins and lively acidity; the finish is rustic and firm-textured. The blend is composed of ninety percent Sangiovese and ten percent Canaiolo. Maturation uses stainless steel and wood, followed by at least six months in bottle.

Sour cherry, red currant and dried cranberry lead, lifted by violet and framed by cedar, savoury herbs and gentle spice. The palate is light to medium-bodied, with lively acidity, fine tannins and an earthy tobacco note beneath the red fruit. Fresh and classically styled, it suits tomato-based pasta, pizza, roast pork or aged pecorino.
