Blackberry, redcurrant, blueberry and floral notes appear with cedar, pepper, laurel and vanilla. The palate is intense and silky. Made entirely from Gamay, the wine comes from Chénas in Beaujolais. Thirty percent receives partial barrel ageing, while stainless-steel tank is also used. The cuvée combines wines selected from three other estate bottlings and was created for the grower’s daughter.
