Nebbiolo accounts for eighty percent of the blend, with twenty percent Vespolina. Rosehip and black pepper accompany fresh cherry, blackcurrant, floral notes, medicinal herbs and citrus detail. The wine is dry, with incisive tannins, spice and salinity. Its finish is long and broad. Vines grow below five hundred metres, and maturation lasts at least eighteen months in large oak casks.
