Italian Red
Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella are hand selected from hillside vineyards in Valpolicella Classica. The grapes dry for four months before traditional skin fermentation and twenty to twenty-five days of maceration. Maturation lasts twelve to twenty-four months in French oak barriques, followed by a short period in steel. Vanilla, cocoa and spice form the aromatic profile. The palate is full, harmonious and tannic, and alcohol is sixteen percent.
Giovanni Ederle 2019 Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG
Italian Red
Dried rose and sugared wild strawberry lead a subtle, mature bouquet, with cherry, sweet tobacco and gentle spice adding depth. The palate is restrained rather than opulent, shaped by bright, piquant acidity and firm, drying tannins. Measured warmth carries through without blurring the wine's detail. Savoury, structured and composed, it closes with dried red fruit, rose petal, tobacco and a persistent herbal-spice note.
